Greetings from the Senses! kitchen where I am passionate about food, aren’t you? My culinary point of view is to offer Classic American with a gourmet edge. I enjoy bringing people together to teach unique food techniques made with fresh ingredients while taping into the five senses. My demonstrations are not, 'Listen and watch what I can do' but more 'Allow me to show you what you can do'.

I have been many things…a motivational speaker, educating and inspiring beautiful women on self confidence and esteem…a personal image consultant, consulting women on self presentation, a customer service facilitator and now a professional chef-cooking teacher. I have never been one to sit still and by looking at my colorful back ground I have no intentions of stopping now.

During my journeys speaking and educating people on self importance my little voice started speaking to me and I had to listen. You know the one we try to avoid at all cost, yeah that one. My hidden desire to persue a career in the culinary industry was eating me at my very core. I enjoy cooking for others and I like the idea that food brings people together. For friends, I garnish a special moment, Sprinkle a giggle here and there and flambé a sweet thought and that is just for friends. In early Spring 2006 I was commissioned to produce a television show in Ghana, Africa and upon my return I decided to make my dream a reality so I enrolled in a professional chef program through the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I graduated with very high honors and now I am a "certified chef" in addition I am also a ServSafe Certified Manager with the International Food Council and National Restaurant Association. I have worked for a few restaurants and catering companies and after pondering a position that I was offered at an exclusive resort outside the USA I decided to stay in Las Vegas and fire-up my dream. I am a published author, free-lancing for several magazines and writing several articles on the importance of Sunday dinners with the family and I live by the words that I write. In addition, I am also in the process of writing my first cookbook inspired when I was a semi-finalist for the Food Networks “Next Food Network Television Star” reality program. (season two)

My talents, as a speaker, draws upon my broad educational background and my practical life experiences. I have captivated many audiences with my engaging personality for over the last 13 years, teaching and speaking at several venues. These attributes prove to be perfect for teaching in the culinary field. My enthusiasm and respect for food and people combined with my goal to unite people with food allows for my true light to shine.

I relish the opportunity to educate people on food and I adore serving people. I want to help unleash your food potential, through my teaching and inspire people of all walks of life to return to the kitchen and get back into family, healthy eating, unity and togetherness.
